The great grumbler and the wonder tree

ANZAC dawn parade

On a cold April morning before the sun rises every year across Australia and new zealand thousands of people gather around monuments to show respect and remember the soldiers who died in ww1. The dawn parade is held on April 25th ANZAC day as this is the day ANZAC troops were fighting in gallipoli.

Pt England Reserve

On Friday we went down to pt England reserve but first we had to go to the assembly and then we go to class. and get our bugs and then we come back to the hall and then we go to the pt England reserve. and guess what my mum and dad came and I ran to them and I haged them.

Immersion Assembly

On Monday morning our class went to the immersion assembly in the hall.I saw some teachers and some older girls were handing out pikelets and the teachers were handing out some sandwiches and they were so nice. We had the immersion assembly so that we could find out about what we’re going to be learning this term. My favourite part of the immersion assembly was when Mr Barks very carefully carried out his hovercraft was made successfully out of plywood plastic tape and a leaf blower. it was entertaining when Mr somerville went for an exciting ride on the hover.
