End Of Term 3

Hi fans this is my last blog post I am so sorry but I will probably do some more blog post in the holidays. I hope you could read my blogging in the holidays and that I could read yours to. Wheels Day

Narrative Writing, Kayaking

Walt: write a narrative 
Walt: use and write paragraphs, detailed sentences, juicy words, full stops, capital letters and correct spelling.

One day there was this beautiful family that went kayaking but there was only 2 of them that went and there was a problem. When they went kayaking the kayak had tipped over and they kept on trying to swim but they couldn’t because they had never had swimming lessons when they were small. So then they called for help but then no one could hear them so then they just kept trying to swim but they couldn’t.

Then they bring out the phone because it was the only thing that they could yous and it was a waterproof phone. Then they called someone but they couldn’t because the phone was out and it had no battery in it. So then they kept on trying to see if anyone was there but there was know one and the second time they tried and there was still know one but then the third time they looked and there was someone on a jet.

The person that was on the jet ski was a security guard for the beaches all of the beaches. So then they got rescued from him and went all the way back onto land. And then they went back home and they told their family what happened to them and there mum and dad had “said to them are you alright” the kids “said yes we are”. And they all lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time it was a windy night the wind was blowing from the sea. It was freezing, at a school named Pt England School there was a teacher and his class. That teachers name was Mr Somerville and his class was room 7. But there was one thing that was wrong and it had never happened before. That problem was Mr Somerville and his class had a cat and the cat had brown hair, a white nose, a black body, and nice blue eyes, The cat's name Hannah west. There was a dog and that dog's name was Ben Baxendine he always came to the school and he rowind everything like how he rowind Awathan, Paikea, and Naomi weil they were playing on the swings. They were being so nice to each other until the mean dog Ben Baxendine came over and rowind everything. He broke all of the swings so that they didn’t play on it he made them cry! And then they ran to their mum and dad.

But Then the mum and the dad “said to Ben Baxendine” leave the kids alone or we will fight you and make you go away. But he didn’t he just kept being mean to them and he never left them alone. So then the Mum Dad and the kid’s started to have a fight with them and they won the fight so Ben Baxendine and his group started to cry and they ran away. And then the Mum Dada and the kid’s “said to each other well done they will never come back now”. That was because they were always evil and know one could defeat them.

Egg 20m Sprint

Introduction:
Early on Monday morning Room 9 from Pt England School went to the park for our 20m egg race. Our teacher told us that it was a new sport but we all knew that it wasn’t. He is a CRAZY TEACHER SOMETIMES. An I meant all the time.


Describing Your Egg:

Well my egg was. Green and it only had like a little bit of hear and it body was all blue. It looked ugly it didn’t have any ears. But it had small cute eyes, but it had a ugly body mostly I liked the eyes because they were so cute.

Start The Race:

When we started the race I was so nervous and I was excited to at the same time. When we all ran we had to go over something and under something. I went over the deck where the flying fox and I went under the flying fox when I We all were coming back. We had to use a spoon for our egg.

Conclusion: Highlight - Favorite Thing:

My favorite part was when we had to draw on the egg and we had to line up to start the race. My last one was when I kept on seeing a lot of eggs getting smashed on the bark and the deck.

Family Facts

Walt: Solve subtraction Problems.

Task Description: Inside of the triangles are numbers. And on the side of the triangle is little boxes. And in those boxes are number that we write our answer in. Like 9x2=27 and then we have to swoop it over and do the other way like 2x9=27 it is just the same thing but you just swoop them over and there you go they are the same answer even if you swoop them over still.

Why were the neighbors excited that the Goodbyes were moving in next door?

The neighbors were so excited, because they knew that they were famous.




How was Mrs Goody perfect?

She is a Beauty Queen.




Why do the other children groan at the McGoody children?

They knew that they were brilliant.





Why did Victor and Priscilla’s perfectly clean clothes get dirty?

There clothes got dirty because all the food slat around on the table.





Why were Mr and Mrs McGoody fighting?

Because there was no more food left.





Why did the McGoodys think that their argument would be in tomorrow’s headlines?

Because Mrs Mcgoodys was so so so angry at Mr Mcgoodys because he made all of the food got to wast

Carrots

On Monday morning I went into to class, when I went into the classroom I saw a packet of Carrots, They looked so yummy, I really wanted to eat them. I  Thought that rabbits were coming into our class, because rabbits love carrots but then there was no rabbits coming into our classroom.

       

I didn’t do anything I just listened to Mr Baxindine and sat on the mat. He “said” that there was going to be some rabbits coming to our classroom, but he “said.” that we had to go outside and line up.Then we did and I was like what is going to happen. I "said" that to myself.

My Carrot looks so tasty that Mr Baxindine let us eat him, or her. he has Creepy Eyes, and he is so short, he has no legs. But he looks like a baby Carrot. And he has abbes to. his name is Ben just like Mr Baxindine.

My favorite part was when we were carving it and eating it.

Paul Martin Visit

Paul Martin Visit!

It was a rainy Wednesday, so I ran to school. When I got to school I just remembered that we had a visitor and his name was Paul Martin, he came from Hamilton and he is a very cool comic artist.

He shared to us all of his Comic Books and Drawings. He then did some drawing with us and we drew Superheros, which was really fun.

My favorite part was when he did drawing with Rm 9/10. He did Superhero drawing with us and he showed us his one book called Kory the Kiwi. It looked like an AMAZING BOOK.
